Trendrr.tv: The Week in Review 2/3

Trendrr.tv’s weekly wrap up highlights the key insights that we have gathered, showcasing unique trends for the week within aired TV content as well as news from the Social TV industry.

Content Highlights:

On Monday 1/30 the Bad Girls Club was down -43% from the premiere but remained the #1 show air with 237,219 total activity. Sentiment remained positive, while the audience continued to skew female. When season 8 premiered the week before it brought in 414,685 total activity, a considerable uptick from the season 7 premiere of 282,760 social mentions.

On Sunday 1/29 the finale of season 2 Kourtney and Kim Take New York matched its all time high on the cable charts at #3 with 93,649. The show was up 102% from the week before. The sentiment of the conversation was 55% positive, and female voices dominated the discussion.  When season 1 ended in April 2011, total activity was just 8,426.

On Thursday Vampire Diaries was #2 on Trendrr.tv with 150,907 total activity, a 51% increase from the last episode on 1/19.  28,486 of those social interactions were taking place on GetGlue.  Sentiment was 77% positive. The episode trended female: 81% Female 19% Male.
