New York, NY – August 7, 2012 – Trendrr.TV, the real-time social TV measurement, insight and social curation service, has named Meghann Sills Elrhoul, former Manager of Analytics at Nielsen, as its new Vice President of Client Services and Analytics, as the company expands to meet a growing demand for real-time insight into the television, media and brand industries.
Elrhoul was an essential part of the development and deployment of Nielsen’s social media products and services division, where she researched relationships between social engagement and television ratings and quantified the impact and reach of social audience participation during and after broadcasts.
Elrhoul will work with Trendrr.TV’s clients, which include more than 30 television networks and dozens of brands, studios and media organizations, while helping to augment Trendrr’s empirical measurement methodologies. She will also assist Trendrr’s aggressive expansion into the Hispanic marketplace.
“Opportunities in the social TV market have exploded as the public increasingly engages in synchronous viewing,” Trendrr Chief Executive Officer Mark Ghuneim said. “Meghann is one of the few people on earth following the analytics side of the industry as closely as we are, which makes her qualified to help us define the next wave of social TV measurement.”
Elrhoul has deep experience in social-media product development and analytics-based consulting and solutions. Before joining Nielsen, she gained analytical experience in the finance industry working for Jefferies, the global securities and investment banking group. She earned a Master’s Degree in Management and Systems from New York University, where she earned a Best Thesis Award for her research on the statistical relationships between social media and television.
