Trendrr is a real-time company. Our technology harnesses the value of big-data with industry specific solutions to solve the problem of processing, understanding, and leveraging social data around television, media, and brands. We are seeking talented development interns with a love for coding who will help develop and maintain various applications and client projects. Candidates should demonstrate strong capabilities in writing, maintaining, and debugging code.

Role Description:

• Work both individually and in small teams to deliver on time, error-free code
• Produce reliable, scalable, and effective software
• Write, update, debug, and maintain code

Qualifications:

• JavaScript
• jQuery basics
• Knowledge of AJAX or asynchronous functions
• Not afraid of learning Linux

Big Plus:

• node.js
• backbone.js
• Git and GitHub
• MVC knowledge
• HTML & CSS

Hours:

We are looking for candidates who can work at least 20 hours per week during Fall 2013. Schedules can be tailored with flexibility around school and other activities. We offer a minimal daily stipend and we will work with your institution to provide college credit for your time (when applicable).
